Heat Source Air Pumps – A Natural Energy Success

0

As nationwide utility costs continue to increase, organisations are inevitably looking at more efficient and cost effective ways to provide heating and hot water systems.

At the forefront of the new generation of sustainable modular buildings, MPH are pro-active in incorporating renewable based systems delivering significant savings and minimising the impact on the environment.

To facilitate compliance with Building Regulations Part L2a we are now utilising inverter type air conditioning / heat source air pumps as the mode of space heating. Air source heat pumps absorb heat from the outside air, even when the external temperature is as low as minus 15 degrees. Heat pumps use electricity but the heat they extract from the air is constantly renewed naturally making it a very cost effective and environmentally friendly way of heating our modular buildings.

Furthermore on larger projects the same technology can be used as a cost effective solution for providing hot water utilising air to water heat source systems.
